Welding is a fabrication process whereby two or more parts are fused together by means of heat, pressure or both forming a join as the parts cool.
Our coded welding staff are fully conversant with MIG/MAG, FCAW, TIG and MMA welding processes, where applicable procedures can be assessed to meet the requirements of BS EN 15614 with welder qualifications and codings to BS EN 9606, ASME 9 class 1 and 2 & BS.4872 in a range of materials and thicknesses. Working alongside our engineering managers who provide approved drawings, weld procedures and inspection with qualifications including HNC’s, CSWIP welding supervisor, IWS EWS welding specialist we undertake a wide variety of welding, working to weld procedures where applicable. Upon completion of a welded fabrication all welds will undergo NDT testing.
Where specified, welds will undergo magnetic particle inspection, dye penetrant inspection Radiographic Inspection, Ultrasonic Inspection, visual inspection and pressure testing.
